Fanta V. Morgan, DPM was born in Washington, DC, and raised in Prince Georges County, Maryland. Following high school graduation she enrolled at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore where she pursued a degree in Biology/Pre-Medicine in the Honors Program. She graduated with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Morgan spent one year after college graduation performing biological research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH); National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive, and Kidney Diseases. After several publications in scientific journals, she later left NIH to pursue a career in Podiatric Medicine at Temple University. During this time she received numerous awards and honors including: induction into Pi Delta National Podiatric Surgery Honor Society; the Andrea K. Delgado, MD Memorial Award; and the James V. Ganley, DPM Memorial Award. She also was recognized in Who’s Who Among American College Students.
Upon completion of Medical School she completed two years of post graduate training in a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Morgan is a licensed physician in the state of Pennsylvania and in Delaware.
